His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently Abdullahi Y. Shehu met with the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich .
During the meeting, the main areas of cooperation between Belarusian and Nigerian businesses, prospects for the implementation of joint projects in the fields of agriculture, mechanical engineering, energy, opportunities for organizing bilateral events, including online meetings of business circles, presentations of trade and economic potential of Nigeria for representatives of Belarusian business, as well as meetings and forums within the framework of major international exhibitions in Belarus and countries of the African continent were discussed.
Vladimir Ulakhovich invited Mr. Shehu and the business circles of the Republic of Nigeria to take part in the third Belarusian-African Economic Forum, which is scheduled to be held in Cairo in May this year.
